Athletic Injury Necklace - NL1050A7

Every once in a while I make a piece which is even better than I had originally hoped for. This is one of those. It is a hollow form fine silver pmc sintered onto a sterling silver frame and set with lots of pretty stones. I really like the way the fine silver pmc caught the texture of torn muscle.

The athletic injury pendant is about the artificial construction and destruction of spare body parts through mechanical means.
The central stone is an unusual 18 x 25mm ammolite cabochon that is amazingly well matched to the piece. The whole pendant is hung on a 24 inch sterling silver chain.

This is one of those pieces that always draws the compliments.
