Anubis Ring (Portfolio) - RG1179D1

This ring is part of a series in sterling silver and dichroic glass I'm working on. I made it for myself because it's just so dam cool. The photo doesn't really do the piece justice as there is a lot more colour in it than the camera picked up.

The image is that of Anubis: God of Embalming.

I really like the detail I captured in this piece. If you look carefully you can actually see that Anubis is carrying an ankh in his left hand. If you cant see his hand clearly, just rotate the ring until you get a good view.

Due to the nature of dichroic glass, as you rotate the piece you can see different parts of the image while other parts are obscured by a fog of rainbow colours.

The dichroic glass 鉁stone" in this piece was custom made by Linda Abbott specifically for this ring.
