Kailani Pendant (Portfolio) - PD1170A2

This is part of a set a very nice man hired me to make for his wife as a Christmas present.

It is in ammolite with a 4.5mm blue topaz in a 14 karat gold setting. The client supplied of these both stones.

Kailani is an Hawaiian name meaning 'sea and sky.' The ammonite being the sea and the blue topaz being the sky above it.

The piece, because of the ammonite, could never be recreated identically but something similar would be possible in the same setting style with the round cabochon at the bottom, the stone set in the centre and the 'V' shaped bail for the chain.

The piece would suit many kinds of stones and would be lovely in a sterling setting as well.
